Hawai is the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool of Dean Connect.
Dean is a company that provides hosted Voice Over IP solutions (VOIP) for businesses. The Hawai system is a custom built application, providing complete customer management, while acting as an extensive sales tool at the same time. Hawai automates the customer creation process by calling the right backend processes that set up all needed services for the VOIP product.
The application was developed into different views (dashboards) for different roles within Dean Connect. All functionality is in components, and highly reusable. At the core of the system lies a powerful security layer, that enables the developers and administrators to add or remove components of functionality for specific roles. This gives the customer the flexibility to offer users with different roles different functionality on the same screen, based on their assigned rights.
Hawai uses a dynamic, javascript based interface, using ajax and jquery. The result is an easy to navigate, modern, interactive web-based application.
